What happens to what you share with Otumia.
Version 1 · Effective September 2, 2026
This policy explains what Otumia, Inc. collects through otumia.com, why, who processes it, and the choices you have. It covers this website and the phone line published on it. The Otumia product your company logs into at app.otumia.com is covered by the agreement your company signs.
What we collect, and where it comes from
Contact and application forms. When you send a message through /contact or apply through /apply, we receive what you typed: your name, work email, phone number, company name, trade, the market you serve, and what you told us about where revenue is leaking. We record the page it was sent from, when you started the form, and that you agreed to be contacted.
The revenue-leak calculator. Your calculator inputs stay in your browser until you ask for the personalized report. If you do, we receive the contact details you enter together with the inputs and the estimate, so that a founder can review the report with you. Inputs are never published or used as benchmarks.
The AI phone line. If you call the number published on this site, the call is answered by Otumia's AI phone assistant. We keep the number you called from and may keep a transcript of the conversation so that we can follow up on what you asked.
Customer accounts and checkout. If your company signs up, we hold the account details needed to run the service — your name, email, company and plan — and Stripe processes your payment. Otumia does not store card numbers.
Measurement, only with your consent. See “Cookies, analytics and advertising measurement” below.
Why we use it
To reply to you, to prepare and discuss the report or application you asked for, to run the service your company subscribes to, and to understand how this website is used and whether advertising led you here. We do not send newsletters or marketing email from a form submission, and we do not sell your personal information.
Cookies, analytics and advertising measurement
otumia.com separates three categories. Essential: the site, its forms, your login and your consent choice — always on, and the only category that runs before you decide. Analytics: Google Analytics 4, to understand how the site is used in aggregate. Marketing: Google Ads conversion measurement and the Meta Pixel, to tell whether advertising led you here.
Analytics and marketing providers do not load until you choose “Accept all”, “Save choices” with that category on, or later change your mind in Cookie Preferences (in the footer of every page). “Reject non-essential” is one click and keeps every optional category off. Your decision is stored in a first-party cookie for 180 days; if we change what we ask for, the version changes and you are asked again.
Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out of marketing measurement whatever you choose on this site, and the notice tells you so.
First-party events. Independently of any provider, otumia.com keeps its own record of a small number of site events — a page view, a call-to-action click, a calculator started or completed, a form submitted — keyed to an anonymous session identifier that lives in your browser's session storage and is cleared when the tab closes. A completed event is recorded only when the server has confirmed the underlying submission. When you arrive from a campaign, the standard campaign parameters and advertising click identifiers in the address are kept for that session and attached to an application you go on to submit, so we can tell which campaign brought a customer. Nothing else from the address is read.
Preview and test deployments of this site load no provider and mark their events as previews.
Who processes it on our behalf
Otumia runs on hosting and infrastructure providers that process data under our instructions: Vercel (the website), Supabase (the database), Stripe (payments), the telephony and voice providers behind the AI phone line, and Resend (transactional email). Google and Meta receive measurement events only after you have consented to the corresponding category, and only the event name and a conversion label — never your name, email, phone number or calculator inputs.
How long we keep it
Form submissions, applications and report requests: for as long as we are in a conversation with you about them, and afterwards for as long as our records and legal obligations require. Account and billing data: for the life of the subscription and the period our records require afterwards. First-party site events: as aggregate, anonymous-session records. Consent choice: 180 days, or until you change it.
Your choices and rights
Change your cookie choice at any time from Cookie Preferences in the footer. To ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted where we are able to, write to hello@otumia.com. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under state privacy law; we will honor a verifiable request in the time the law allows and we will not treat you differently for making one.

Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, the version and effective date at the top of this page change with it. A change to what we ask consent for also changes the consent version, and the notice appears again.
